How customers get quote for products?
- The customers shall click on the "Request for Quote" button" for the products they wish to buy.
- On clicking, an AJAX-based attractive window pops up where they can enter their contact details and other queries.
- For further communication regarding product price and other details, the admin contacts them back.
How admin manages "Request for Quote"?
- "Add to Cart" button can be replaced by "Request for Quote", "Quote for product", “Inquire now” etc.
- A phone number and “call image” can be displayed alongside the "Request for Quote" button.
- Admin can enable/disable the “Inquire Now” button.
- The “inquire now” label, “call us on” label and label color is customizable by the admin.
Inquiry Management
- The admin will receive a quote inquiry emails in an email address predefined in the backend.
- The admin can set inquiry status such as "Pending" or "Closed". The default status is "Pending".
- All customer leads will be stored in a backend grid, where IP address of inquirer along with inquiry date and time can be accessed.
Added benefits
- Can be applied globally, product specifically, category wise or to specific customer groups.
- Acknowledgment email subject and body can be predefined by the admin.
- The admin can add terms and conditions for customers and can edit the content from backend.
- This feature can be displayed on product page, category page, compare page, wishlist.
- The title of inquiry form can be customized.
- The Magento quotation extension supports multiple languages.
